It feels like it's been years since Georgia football last stepped foot on the gridiron, but the wait is finally over. Georgia is coming off their last bye week of the season, and their reward is a date with their rival Florida.
The Gators have turned their season around in recent weeks and are playing with as much confidence as any other team in the SEC. But will that be enough to knock off Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs?
We will find out soon enough.
But before the game gets here, it's once again time to give our bold predictions for Georgia's rivalry game against Florida on Saturday.
1. Trevor Etienne scores three touchdowns, again
Trevor Etienne may be the hottest player on offense for Georgia. He is coming off a three touchdown performance against Texas that saw him also rack up 87 yards on the ground.
A lot is going to be asked of Etienne again with Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson both ruled out for this game. But if there was any game that Etienne would be ready to go for, it's this one.
As you all likely know by now, Etienne is a transfer from Florida who is going up against his former team for the first time. Etienne has shared that he is very "excited" to play his former teammates, but Smart has warned him that he needs to stay focused on the task at hand instead of all the outside noise.
And that is what we think Etienne is going to do. Etienne is going to follow up his great performance against Texas with an even better one against his former team. He is once again going to score three touchdowns, but this time he is going to surpass 100 yards rushing as well.
That performance would easily be remembered as one of the best of all time in this rivalry.
