Georgia is in position to sign one of the best recruiting classes in the country again this year, but there is still a lot of work to do. They are still outside the top 10 which isn't good enough, but a month ago they were outside the top 30 so things have been getting a lot better.
Kirby Smart can't afford to slow down now though because if he is going to sign one of the best classes he has to take advantage of the recruits he is after that plan on committing soon. Four-star linebacker Brayton Feister is one of the next Georgia targets who is announcing their commitment soon, but unfortunately for UGA the recruiting experts believe they have a lot of work to do still.

Georgia has serious ground to make up with Brayton Feister
Feister is down to just Oregon and Georgia in his recruitment. In about two weeks he will decide which school is the right place for him as he will announce his commitment on July 11.
Georgia was one of three schools to host Feister on an official visit this summer, so they have already beaten out one school. Unfortunately for them it is the Ducks who are the favorite to win this recruitment.
247Sports has one prediction in Oregon's favor while On3 gives the Ducks a 94.1 percent change to come out on top. So while Georgia can't be counted out just yet, things are not looking great.
Kirby Smart needs to find a way to turn the tides in Georgia's favor on the recruiting trail
Georgia has had a solid month of recruiting in June that has seen them add double digit commits, but they have added less than half the number of recruits that they did last year during this month. That is one reason why Georgia is still outside the top 10 instead of being close to No. 1 like they usually are.
A lot of Georgia's top targets have been announcing their commitments recently, they just haven't been choosing UGA. Some of these recruits are picking big name schools like Texas and Ohio State, but others like Joshua Sam-Epelle are choosing schools like Georgia Tech.
Then there was Jayden Aparcio-Bailey who chose Clemson over Georgia, and no one needs to be told how far Clemson has fallen off the last few years.
There are still a handful of recruits out there who do look like they are trending to Georgia. Four-star Kadin Fife is one example as he decommitted from Tennessee just two weeks after he visited Georgia.
The hope is that Georgia will be able to come out on top in that recruitment along with a few others, but as of now things aren't looking great with Feister.
