Georgia's recruiting woes have reached an all time high over the past few weeks. Losses in recruiting happen all he time, so no one should overreact to any one loss that Goergia suffers, but the Bulldogs losses have really been stacking up so it's getting difficult to not be frustrated.
Another top target for Georgia was four-star offensive lineman Jordan Agbanoma who announced his commitment on Wednesday. Unfortunately his announcement did not go Georgia's way as he chose Nebraska over the Bulldogs.
Losing a recruitment for a top 100 recruit is always disappointing, but losing him to a program like Nebraska is a sign of serious struggles on the recruiting trail.

Nebraska left Kirby Smart stunned after beating Georgia for elite OL Jordan Agbanoma
It's one thing if Georgia loses a recruit to another elite program like Alabama or Ohio State. It still stings, but fans can at least rationalize with the fact that the recruit chose a program that is on Georgia's level.
Nebraska is not one of those programs.
The Cornhuskers haven't won double digit games in a season since 2012. They also haven't won more than seven games under their current head coach Matt Rhule. Nebraska also isn't a program known for spending a lot of NIL money either, so there really isn't a good explanation for why Georgia is losing recruits to them.
Unfortunately Agbanoma saw someting in Nebraska that he didn't see in Georgia that has him continuing UGA's trend of losing recruits to schools they have no business losing to.
A few weeks ago this happened with top 100 defensive back Jerry Outhouse who flipped to UCLA. Miami is a more respectable program than UCLA and Nebraska, but losing long-time commit Donte Wright to the Hurricanes stung just as much.
These are losses Georgia usually doesn't suffer on the recruiting trail, but recently it has become far too common.
Kirby Smart must answer for countless recruiting losses they have no business losing
Kirby Smart has to find an answer for all of these losses. Georgia's recruiting class is ranked outside the top 30 on 247Sports which is nowhere near acceptable. A big reason why is because of losses like Agbanoma who is choosing programs much worse than Georgia as well as guys like five-star Mark Matthews who is choosing a program in Texas A&M who has never found success like Georgia has.
Georgia has won the last two SEC Chapionships. They also have two recent National Championships to their name as well. Combining that success with a coach like Smart who can get any player to the NFL should be a good enough recruiting pitch for anyone. But recently that hasn't been cutting it, so Smart needs to find a new answer.
The obvious solution is increasing the NIL offers he is making, but that isn't likely to occur. So Smart is now left with no choice but to get creative as losses to programs like UCLA and Nebraska is not acceptable at the rate it's recently been happening.
