Earlier this week Georgia football lost a key commitment from four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle. While it is never fun to lose any commitment, it does happen this time of year to every program, so at the end of the day it wasn't a big deal for Georgia. But the fact that Toodle flipped to Auburn of all teams is why this news hurt the most.
Many fans thought Toodle's decommitment marked the end of Georgia's chances with him, but that turned out to not be the case as Dawg Nation insider Jeff Sentell believes Georgia still has a chance to win this recruitment.

Georgia's back and forth recruitment of Shadarius Toodle isn't over yet
As mentioned, Auburn flipped Toodle from Georgia earlier this week just days after the Bulldogs beat the Tigers on the field. The timing of this announcement definitely is a bit strange to say the least, but if Toodle wants to play for a program that has forgotten how to beat Georgia then more power to him.
The timing of this decision however isn't the most surprising thing though because Georgia stole Toodle from Auburn first. Toodle actually committed to Auburn first, but on June 22 he officially flipped to Georgia. So Toodle has now flipped between Georgia and Auburn twice, but Sentell believes he could flip again in the future.
Only time will tell if UGA is able to win this recruitment or not, but at the end of the day it really shouldn't matter to Georgia fans. If Toodle wants to go to Auburn knowing head coach Hugh Freeze may not last after this season then that is his decision to make. Auburn has also lost to Georgia nine years in a row, so if that isn't enough to see why Georgia is a better program then likely nothing will.
But Toodle is a very talented player, so getting him back in the fold at Georgia would be big news for the future of the program.
