Georgia football has been on an insane recruiting run throughout the month of June. The Bulldogs have earned countless commitments throughout the past month, with the latest recruiting win coming from four-star linebacker Sahadarius Toodle who flipped from Auburn to Georgia on Sunday.
But all good things must come to an end at some point, and it appears Georgia wide receiver commit Vance Spafford may be well on his way to ending this impressive run flipping to a new school.

Miami predicted to steal 4-star Georgia WR
On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons have predicted Spafford to flip his commitment from Georgia to Miami (FL). Spafford has been committed to UGA since November, but this prediction indicates the No. 9 receiver in the 2026 class may be heading south.
This prediction however should be taken with a grain of salt. Spafford was scheduled to officially visit Miami this past weekend, but he ended up cancelling that visit at the last second. This made it seem like the Hurricanes were no longer a threat to Georgia, but this prediction paints a completely different story.
Even though that cancellation does poke some holes in this prediction, Georgia insiders have hinted at Spafford’s commitment to Georgia being in jeopardy for a few months now. In fact, Spafford has been thought of as the most likely UGA commit to flip for some time now, so him going elsewhere wouldn’t be all that surprising.
If this prediction comes true, this would be the second recruit Miami has flipped from Georgia this cycle as four-star corner Jontavius Wyman made the same decision earlier this year. Former quarterback Carson Beck also made the move from Georgia to Miami this offseason as well, so the Hurricanes have had Georgia’s number on the recruiting trail this year.
Time will tell if this prediction comes true, but this would be a big loss for the Bulldogs 2026 recruiting class.
