Georgia is struggling with the 2027 recruiting class, no one can deny that at this point. The Bulldogs however are doing an excellent job already with the 2028 class.
It is still early, but Georgia has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country thanks to their two elite commitments. Asa Wall is one of their commits who is the No. 6 tight end in the country, but it is five-star quarterback Jayden Wade who is the headliner.
Wade committed to Georgia in November and since then he has remained loyal to UGA. He has still allowed other schools to recruit him, and has even gone as far as to say that he plans to take other visits. But even with that being the case he has also said that no one should worry about his commitment during these visits. That sentiment however may be changing as Wade didn't shut down the chances that LSU and Tennessee could flip him.

5-star Jayden Wade may not be as sold on Georgia as fans once thought
A few schools have shown a lot of interest in Wade since he committed to Georgia. Up to this point Wade has shot them all down, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
Wade himself said that it would "take a lot to change his mind" when it comes to other schools attempting to flip him from Georgia. That may sound like a good thing, but it implies that it is possible for someone to flip him.
So just in the last few months Wade went from saying no school stood a chance at flipping him to implying that there is a chance. Sure it doesn't sound like anyone has that good of a chance right now, but this still isn't the encouraging update that Georgia fans would want to see.
What would losing Jayden Wade's commitment mean for Georgia?
It would be a complete disaster if Georgia ever ends up losing Wade's commitment. They are already really struggling with the 2027 recruiting class as they only have the No. 18 class in the country, so the last thing they need is to have two subpar recruiting classes in a row.
As long as Wade remains committed to Georgia it's very unlikely they'll sign a bad class. Wade is the No. 1 quarterback in the country, so he not only will help Georgia's class ranking on his own but he will also help attract even more talent to UGA.
If Wade flips to a different school though it is impossible to predict what will happen. Maybe Kirby Smart would still be able to sign a really good class, but it would be extremely difficult based on what is unfolding with the 2027 class.
Georgia still has a year and a half to go before Wade can officially sign with them, and until then this is going to be a recruitment everyone should be a little worried about. Things are still looking good for Georgia right now, but as they've learned in the past with five-star quarterback commits like Jared Curtis, things can change extremely fast.
