While the rest of the country is looking for their future quarterback, Georgia's quarterback room is set for years to come thanks to their commitment from five-star Jayden Wade.

Wade is a member of the 2028 recruiting class, so there is a long time between now and when he can sign with Georgia. That means other schools will certainly try to sway him from Georgia, and one of the schools who believes they have a chance to flip him is the Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan Wolverines believe they can flip Jayden Wade from Georgia

There is growing hope coming out of Ann Arbor that the Wolverines will be able to flip Wade. Why are they so confident? Because that's exactly what they did to LSU with former No. 1 overall recruit Bryce Underwood in the 2025 recruiting class.

It's one thing to be hopeful that they can pull that off again, but it's another to have concrete information that Wade may have some interest in them. Unfortunately he may in fact be slightly interested in Michigan because a new report indicated that Wade could visit the Wolverines soon.

Until Wade actually visits Michigan there is nothing for anyone to be worried about, but the fact that Michigan believes he will visit is a small problem.

At this point it seems likely that he will visit Michigan, but Georgia should remain hopeful because of the promise Wade made them.

Georgia is hoping Jayden Wade keeps the promise he made

A few months ago Wade urged Georgia fans to not worry about his commitment if he does take visits elsewhere. That's all fine and dandy when visits aren't being scheduled, but the fact that Michigan is confident one will get on the books soon is making things feel different now.

This development was expected though because Wade said he would end up taking other visits. At the time he never said which schools he wanted to visit, but it's looking like Michigan is a program who he could be slightly interested in.

Jayden Wade's in a new battle to retain his No. 1 ranking

Wade has been the perfect commit for Georgia since he pledged his loyalty to the program. There have been countless examples of him expressing his love for Georgia since he committed last year, and that includes when he was celebrating Georgia's SEC Championship win over Alabama online with fans.

Up until now Georgia hasn't faced any true competition since he committed, but it looks like that is about to change. Kirby Smart and his staff have built an amazing relationship with him though, so hopefully that wins out and Wade realizes how much he wants to play for Georgia while he is on these visits.
