Donte Wright is one of Georgia's two five-star commits in their 2027 recruiting class. He actually just earned that fifth star a few weeks ago which one would assume Georgia fans should celebrate, but that was not the case.
For the past few months Wright hasn't been fully in love with Georgia even though he has remained committed. Countless reports have come out about the other schools he has been showing interest in which included an official prediction for him to flip to Oregon.
He still hasn't flipped yet which is good news for Georgia, but the two words he just uttered will make everyone in Athens panic even more.

5-star Donte Wright breaks Georgia's hearts with just two words
According to Wright, this is the "hardest point" of his recruitment. Typically recruitments are very easy for a recruit when they have been committed somewhere for 10 months, but that is not the case for Wright as he is still debating where he wants to go.
Oregon continues to be a major problem for Georgia as they just met with him twice in the last few days. Hometown team UCLA has also been making a lot of noise recently which no one in Athens ever saw coming. Even Miami is feeling confident that they can still win this recruitment as well.

As long as Wright remains committed to Georgia then they will have a chance to come out on top, but at this point no one should be confident. With every report that comes out it is seeming more and more likely that he eventually heads elsewhere, so it really is hard to even view him as a commit right now.
Kirby Smart should never be doubted though, so maybe he and his staff can find a way to keep him in Georgia's recruiting class when it's all said and done.
