Recruiting has become more and more difficult over the years throughout the Kirby Smart era. NIL and the Transfer Portal has changed everything, so now Georgia needs as much help as they can get to continue recruiting at an extremely high level.

Smart and his staff will continue to be the main people recruiting for Georgia, but over the last few year some of their commits have stepped up to the plate to help out as well. And there is no greater example of that than five-star running back commit Kemon Spell.

5-star Kemon Spell is helping Georgia bring Amare Patterson to Athens

Spell is a top 10 player in the country and is the Bulldogs highest ranked commit. But he knows he won't be able to win at Georgia on his own, so he needs as much help as he can get. So even though he has only been committed to Georgia for a few weeks he has already started helping Smart recruit other players to Georgia.

His most recent target is four-star wide receiver Amare Patterson. There isn't much known yet about who Patterson's top schools are, but Georgia has made him a priority. Spell has recognized that, so he shared that he and fellow Georgia commit Donte Write text him all the time to try and convince him to come with them to UGA.

It will be interesting to see how Patterson's recruitment plays out, but it appears Spell's efforts are already working. Just a few days ago Patterson posted a picture to social media of Georgia gloves he was wearing during a workout.

Could this mean Georgia is his No. 1 school right now? It could, but at the very least it shows that they have a great chance to win his recruitment. And their chances will keep improving if Spell continues building a relationship with him.
