Kemon Spell is the No. 1 recruit committed to Georgia's 2027 recruiting class. He is a five-star running back and a top 10 player in the country, so his commitment on its own is a big deal.
Spell however has taken on a leadership role now that he is committed as he has put his recruiting hat on and is helping Kirby Smart recruit some other really talented players as well.
His main targets have been other players from Pennsylvania, and he recently made a promise to Smart when it comes to one of those recruits that should raise a lot of eyebrows.
He will be at UGA With me next year, bringing that pa ball up Athens 🐶 @Jimmy_Kalis https://t.co/OCRjq2w5iC

Kemon Spell made a promise Kirby Smart can't ignore
This past weekend Spell took to social media to make a promise to Smart and every Georgia fan. He sent a post reacting to the visit that four-star offensive tackle Jimmy Kalis made to Athens saying that he was going to make sure he would commit to Georgia as well.
Kalis is one of the best recruits in the country. According to 247Sports he is the No. 197 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 24 offensive tackle in the 2027 class and the No. 9 player from Pennsylvania.
Spell has made his intentions very clear about which players he wants to recruit to Georgia. He said that he wants to bring as many of the top players from Pennsylvania (where he is from) along with him to Athens. So far he hasn't helped earn another commitment from one of these players yet, but messages like this will stand out to players like Kalis.
At the end of the day the most important thing is that Spell is committed to Georgia. Even if he isn't able to bring any other recruits with him it is still a big deal to have him coming to Athens. But with every day that passes it is seeming more and more likely that he will bring at least a couple elite recruits from Pennsylvania to Georgia with him.
