Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis will be announcing his final decision in two days. The No. 1 quarterback in the country and No. 3 overall player has Georgia and Oregon as his two finalists, with a commitment date set for May 5.
Typically when a high profile recruitment only has two days remaining it is pretty set in stone where that player is going to go, but that is not the case with Curtis. Both Georgia and Oregon are still hopeful they will end up on top and bring the best quarterback in the 2026 class home.
Up to this point, both schools had one final visit scheduled with Curtis on May 4, but Curtis has opted to make one final change in his recruitment that impacts both teams.

Jared Curtis cancels final visits
According to multiple sources, Curtis has decided to cancel his final visit with both Oregon and Georgia that were scheduled for May 4. This means Curtis has heard what he wants to hear and will now use these final two days to decide which school is the best fit for him.
Curtis cancelling his visit with UGA is obviously not a good thing, but Georgia was able to get a visit with him when offensive coordinator Mike Bobo travelled to his home in Tennessee on April 30 to visit with Curtis and his family. Bobo was going to make one final visit again right after Oregon on May 4, but that unfortunately will no longer be happening.
So who will it be? Georgia or Oregon? At this point is still too close to call as no official predictions have been logged yet, but many recruiting experts out there believe Georgia might be the slight favorite heading into Curtis's decision.
So let's hope that is the case and that Georgia receives some great news from Curtis at 5:30 pm EST on Monday.
