Georgia just had their hearts ripped out of their chest after five-star quarterback Elijah Haven committed to Alabama a few days ago. The Bulldogs were the only other finalist in his recruitment, so coming that close to landing that talented of a player is tough to overcome.
Thankfully fellow five-star quarterback and current Georgia commit Jayden Wade sent a clear message on social media that will help ease the pain from that loss in a heartbeat.

5-star Jayden Wade calms Georgia's nerves after witnessing Elijah Haven commit to Alabama
Losing Haven's recruitment wasn't fun, but Georgia is the only school in the country who is able to withstand that without skipping a beat. Why is that? Because they have a commitment from Wade, and just like Haven he also is a five-star recruit and the No. 1 quarterback in the country in his class (2028).
Sure it would’ve been spectacular to land both players, but how realistic is that? Quarterbacks like these two want to play as soon as possible, so going to the same school was never really an option.
Georgia’s focus now has to be holding onto Wade’s commitment. He has made it clear that he is still going to take other visits, but at the same time he has urged Georgia fans to not panic because of this.
But until he is able to sign a year and a half from now there will always be somewhat of a nervous feeling.
The good news is that messages like the above reassure Georgia that he isn’t going anywhere. The fact that he’s said he wants to help recruit more players to Georgia also helps as well.
So Alabama can have Haven because Georgia has Wade, and in just a few short years these two will be duking it out on the field to see who the best player truly is.
