Georgia has recruited at an extremely high level ever since Kirby Smart took over the program. This includes signing the No. 1 class in 2018 and the No. 2 class multiple times as well.
Last year Georgia took a step back and only signed the No. 6 class in the country. The obvious hope is that they will drastically improve on that mark with the 2027 recruiting class, but it is going to take a lot of work to pull that off.
Kirby Smart already earned a commitment from five-star running back Kemon Spell that should help them sign one of the top classes in the country. But it was Spell's recent message he sent on social media that could have an even larger impact on Georgia's recruiting class.
I know the real👀he will be at Athens

Kemon Spell is eyeing a commitment from fellow Pennsylvania native Khalil Taylor
Spell was in Athens this past weekend on a visit. Fellow Pennsylvania native Khalil Taylor was in town alongside him as well. Taylor isn't just any recruit as he is a four-star wide receiver and a top 70 player in the country. Recruits don't get much better than him, so Georgia would be lucky to add a player of his caliber to their program.
Spell has been doing everything he can to bring as many elite players from Pennsylvania to Georgia with him. He already targeted one of the top offensive tackles in the country, but he is adding Taylor to his recruiting list as well. Taylor is very high on Penn State in his recruitment, but messages like this from Spell should only help Georgia's chances at winning this recruitment even more.
Spell coming to Georgia on his own is a really big deal. He is the No. 1 running back in the country and a top 10 player in his class, so regardless of if he finds success recruiting other players or not he is a big addition to the program. But if he can bring more players from Pennsylvania with him then he could become one of the most important commits in Smart's history as Georgia's head coach.
