Jared Curtis's recruitment is coming down to the wire. The No. 1 quarterback in the country has been honing in on Georgia and Oregon for quite some time now, and the final decision from Curtis is quickly approaching.
Curtis will announce if he will be a Bulldog or Duck on May 5, so there is still a little time remaining for Kirby Smart and Georgia to make their move. And UGA was setup to do just that this weekend at G-Day as Curtis was expected to be in Athens on a visit.
But according to multiple sources, that visit is no longer taking place.

What does this mean for Georgia?
Usually when a top target cancels a visit for Georgia it is time to sound the alarm and panic. But that is not the case this time around. According to Graham Coffey with Dawgs Central, Curtis cancelled this visit so he could attend his high school's prom.
There could be countless reasons for Curtis to cancel a visit to Georgia, but this reason is one that Georgia fans shouldn't read into.
It is however unfortunate that Curtis won't be making this visit because this was UGA's last chance to host him before his decision next month. But Curtis has become extremely familiar over the years with Georgia, so there probably isn't much else that Smart and his staff could say to him that he hasn't already heard.
So who will it be? Georgia or Oregon?
At this time it is still unclear who the leader in this recruitment is. On3 currently favors Oregon by a small margin, but there are some analysts who are confident in Georgia's chances as well. But there has still not been an official prediction logged by an expert yet, so the race for Curtis is still very much up in the air and it may stay that way until he publicly announces his commitment.
