There is one recruitment that everyone in the country has been taking about recently, and Georgia football is at the center of it. Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis is the No. 1 QB in the country, and he has shared some major updates in his recruitment recently.

The biggest update Curtis shared was cutting his five finalists down to two when he stated that Georgia and Oregon are the only two teams he will move forward with in his recruitment. Then just a few days later Curtis announced an additional visit to both UGA and Oregon in March.

Now that everyone knows his recruitment is down to Georgia and Oregon, any visit to either program will be massive. Curtis will now take the time to get to know both programs very closely so he can start deciding which place is the best option for him.

So what will Curtis be looking for during these upcoming visits in March? Curtis recently shared the thing he is looking for the most with On3's Steve Wiltfong during these upcoming visits.

“I’m excited to see how they practice and coach their players.”

Georgia has to pull out the all stops for Curtis

This is a recruitment that feels like a must win for Georgia. Earning a commitment from a player like Curtis doesn't only lock up the quarterback position for many years to come in Athens, but it will also help Georgia construct an even better team around him.

The best recruits in the country want to play with the best quarterbacks, so if Georgia can land Curtis then there is a great chance of a ripple effect occurring that will lead to many of the best recruits from across the country following Curtis to Georgia.

It is unlikely that Curtis will announce a commitment after these visits in March as he has official visits scheduled in June with both programs, but these upcoming visits will set the tone for the rest of his recruitment. So it is extremely important for Georgia to come out on top after these visits take place.
