Five-star QB Jared Curtis has been the most talked about recruit over the last few days. The No. 1 ranked quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class recently trimmed his list of schools he is interested in, and his final two schools are Georgia football and Oregon.

This recruitment likely has a long ways to go as Curtis has official visits scheduled with both programs for later this summer. However, the amount of updates UGA fans will receive about this recruitment will likely be plentiful because Curtis is the top QB in the country according to multiple recruiting sites.

And the latest update Curtis shared was an upcoming visit to both programs later this spring.

2 upcoming visits for Jared Curtis

According to Hayes Fawcett with On3, Cutris will take an unofficial visit to Gerogia later this spring from March 13-16. This visit will come one day after he visits the Ducks from March 8-12.

It probably doesn't matter which program gets the first visit and which gets the second, but there is a lot to like about getting the second visit. This means that Georgia will be the last thing on his mind when these visits wrap up, which could really help UGA and Athens stand out to him.

As it stands today in this recruitment, no one truly knows who the leader is. A report last week came out stating that Georgia was the current leader, but there has been previous reports saying that Oregon was the leader. So the soonest anyone will know who the current leader is likely won't be until these two visits happen next month.

There is a chance that Curtis could announce a commitment after these two visits, but the most likely scenario is that he will commit after his two official visits the first two weekends of June. But stay tuned as a lot of information about this recruitment will come out after he takes these two long visits to both schools.
