Kirby Smart desperately wants to add a third running back commit to Georgia's 2027 recruiting class. That is an interesting strategy because typically two running backs in a class is plenty, but Smart has made it clear he wants another back to commit to Georgia.

One of the targets he is after in that pursuit is five-star David Gabriel-Georges. He is the the current No. 2 running back in the country, so Smart would be wise to do anything he can to convince him to come to Georgia.

Smart's recruitment of Gabriel-Georges has been rocky of late because of the two running backs already committed to Georgia. He however is still giving Georgia a chance and actually just outlined exactly what they need to do to win his recruitment.

5-star David Gabriel-Georges gives Georgia the blueprint on how to win his recruitment

Georgia's competition in this recruitment is Tennessee, Ole Miss and Ohio State. All three schools currently appear to be in a better spot to win this recruitment, so Georgia being on the bottom of the above graphic is pretty ironic.

But even if that is the case Gabriel-Georges said that his official visits this summer will decide his recruitment. So all Georgia needs to do is knock his official visit out of the park (with him and his family) and then they will have a chance to earn his commitment.

As mentioned, Georgia currently has two running backs already committed to their recruiting class. This includes fellow five-star Kemon Spell who is the No. 1 running back in the 2027 class. That fact alone could deter Gabriel-Georges from coming to Georgia, but if Smart plays his cards right that could be the biggest selling point so he could come to Athens to create the best duo in the country.

His official visits begins at the end of May and will run through June. Georgia has the final visit on the books which is set for June 19. This is concerning because he could decide to shut his recruitment down before then, but if he makes it to this visit then Georgia will have a realistic shot to bring him home.
