Aaron Murray said the one thing Georgia fans have been waiting to hear

The last thing Georgia fans wanted to see this season was Carson Beck and Miami having a great season. Unfortunately that is how the season began as the Hurricanes were 5-0 and the No. 2 team in the country just a few weeks ago.

This had many people, including former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, proclaiming that Miami was clearly the best team in the country. But after the Hurricanes second loss in three games Murray said what every Georgia fan is now thinking about Beck and Miami.

Miami and Beck entered Saturday night's matchup at SMU 6-1 and the No. 10 team in the country. The Hurricanes were upset to be in this position after a loss to Louisville a few weeks ago, but Miami still had a clear path to the College Football Playoff. That path however no longer exists after Miami lost to SMU 26-20 in overtime.

Georgia fans are likely very excited to see Miami lose another game because this will help ensure that they have a better season than the Hurricanes this year. But the manner in which they lost this game was the icing on the cake.

Miami got the ball first in overtime, and when they were just a few yards from scoring a touchdown Beck threw an interception. This essentially cost Miami the game because SMU scored a touchdown of their own on the following possession.

Miami and Beck could still make the playoff if they win their final four games. This is very doable considering all four of their upcoming opponents are not ranked, but after the struggles they've experienced in their previous three games it would be surprising if they did finish the season with four wins.
