Georgia football had another trick up their sleeves on Saturday as they once again found a way to win another game. This time it was against Ole Miss who put up an impressive fight, but ultimately it was Georgia who came out on top 43-35.
Georgia’s offense deserves all of the credit for this victory, and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo arguably deserves more credit than anyone else. And after all the hate Bobo has received over the past two years, Aaron Murray made sure he received the recognition he deserves.
For the Dawg fans who always want to blame Bobo

Offense has not been the issue this season. Defense is far from dominant
Aaron Murray says what no Georgia fan wants to admit
Georgia fans might be a little hesitant to give Bobo the respect he deserves because that would mean they’d have to admit they were wrong. For two years now a large number of Georgia fans have been begging for Bobo to be let go, and at times it seemed like they were right. This was especially the case last season when time and time against Georgia’s offense held back UGA overall.
But that is not the case this season, and Georgia’s win over Ole Miss was the latest example of why Bobo deserves to stay.
Georgia’s defense could not get a stop Saturday night. In fact, Ole Miss scored five touchdowns the first five times they touched the ball. Usually that would lead to a Georgia loss, but not on Bobo’s watch. Bobo called as close to a perfect game as possible as he had the perfect mix of run and pass plays along with a few trick plays from time to time as well. And when it came time to put Ole Miss away once Georgia finally got a stop on defense, he and the offense delivered.
So after a season where Bobo’s offense held Georgia back, they are doing the complete opposite this season. Georgia’s offense is operating at an extremely high level right now, and it’s time fans admit they were wrong and that Bobo deserves to stay in Athens for as long as he wants.
