ESPN's College GameDay was at Vanderbilt on Saturday for their matchup against Missouri. This created an interesting dynamic for Georgia because of five-star quarterback commit Jared Curtis visiting Vanderbilt on Saturday.

GameDay typically focuses on the games on the field and doesn't talk much about recruiting, but that was not the case on Saturday. Curtis's visit to Vanderbilt is the only reason why they brought up recruiting, and they brought him up three times throughout their show.

This included guest picker Nate Cargatze who gave a huge shoutout to Curtis while on the GameDay set.

College GameDay's pitch isn't enough for Jared Curtis

Every Georgia fan woke up Saturday morning nervous that Curtis was on the verge of flipping to Vanderbilt. These mentions on GameDay only made those feelings worse as well. But Curtis sent a clear message to Georgia later in the day confirming that he has no plans of flipping to the Commodores and will remain a Bulldog.

So why is Curtis visiting Vanderbilt in the first place? Curtis shared that he is there with his high school coaches and a high school teammate who is thinking about playing for Vanderbilt. So he is solely there to support his teammate and to watch a huge matchup as No. 10 Vanderbilt take on No. 15 Missouri. He is not there to be recruited by Vanderbilt and will not be looking at the Commodores as a potential flip option for him.

So Georgia fans can officially rest easy and enjoy Georgia's week off by watching countless big games across the SEC. Curtis is going to be a Bulldog, and this visit was nothing more than him being a good teammate and supporting his friend.
