Sanford Stadium is the perfect example of what makes a college football stadium so great. Sure the team on the field tends to be pretty good, but Georgia fans are always loud and proud each and every season no matter what.
Fans across the SEC sometimes don't like to give Sanford Stadium the respect it deserves for being an intimidating stadium to play in. Thankfully EA Sports stepped in and ranked Sanford Stadium as the No. 4 toughest place to play in their new video game coming out in July.

EA Sports finally said about Sanford Stadium what Georgia fans have been screaming all along
Georgia fans have argued for a long time how great the environment in Sanford Stadium is. Fans from across the country have been hesitant to give the stadium the flowers it deserves, but Sanford Stadium is finally getting some recognition.
It's easy for a stadium to be electric when the fans in the stands have a winning team to cheer for. In fact, no one has been winning at home more than Georgia as they had over 30 wins in a row at home before losing to Alabama last season.
That might be why a lot of people across the country don't want to give Sanford Stadium the respect it deserves because Georgia has been so good for so long, but UGA fans know how amazing the atmosphere is even when their team isn't good.
Just think of the years Georgia struggled before Kirby Smart became head coach. Some of those teams did not live up to Georgia's expectations, but they always had a great crowd to play in front of.
Georgia however gets to enjoy an amazing atmosphere along with a really good football team, and there really aren't many programs who can say the same.
Georgia is missing one glaring thing from EA Sports' College Football 27 video game
While it is nice to see Sanford Stadium get this recognition, Georgia fans unfortunately won't be able to play with Gunner Stockton in this new video game.
EA Sports didn't make the decision to exclude Stockton, it was actually Stockton himself who is at fault. It's unclear if Stockton did this on purpose or not, but he failed to opt in on time (which is a requirement to be included), so as of now he will not be in the video game.
He isn't the first superstar to not opt in on time as Texas quarterback Arch Manning made the same mistake two years ago. Manning ended up opting in a few months later, so hopefully Stockton will do the same so Georgia fans can play with him at one of the best stadiums in the entire video game.
