Georgia football is coming off a big time rivalry win against Florida on Saturday 34-20. Sure the game maybe didn't go as UGA may have hoped, but a rivalry win is a rivalry win and that is always cause for celebration.

But now it's time for Georgia to turn the page to Ole Miss, who will be a massive challenge this Saturday. The Rebels are 7-2 (3-2) this season and have quickly become one of the hottest teams in the SEC. Ole Miss may only be on a two game win streak right now, but they just destroyed Arkansas on the road on Saturday 63-31.

But even though Ole Miss is one of the hottest teams in the SEC, Georgia should still be the favorite. They are the No. 2 team in the country in the updated AP Poll and are riding a four game win streak now after their loss to Alabama earlier this season. And so far the Sportsbooks agree as they have the Bulldogs as a small 2.5 point favorite.

But not everyone thinks Georgia is the favorite this weekend.

ESPN's FPI favors Ole Miss against Georgia

As of 10:30 pm EST on Nov. 3, ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) gives Ole Miss a 53.9 percent chance to beat Georgia on Saturday.

Nobody will argue that this game has the potential to be close, but the consensus so far is that Georgia is the more likely team to win. That is why Georgia is a slight favorite across all of the sportsbooks so far. But for some unknown reason, ESPN has Ole Miss as the favorite.

Maybe this is because they are the home team and one of the hottest teams in the conference right now, but we all know that doesn't mean much with this Georgia team. Texas was viewed very similarly a few weeks ago, the home team with a lot of momentum. Everyone doubted Georgia then but the Bulldogs still won in convincing fashion.

Will Georgia be able to win once again on Saturday with ESPN doubting them? That remains to be seen. But it is not wise to doubt Kirby Smart and Georgia right now considering they haven't lost to a team not named Alabama in over four years.
