On Friday Florida earned a commitment from four-star running back Andrew Beard. He is a very good player, one that Florida fans should be very proud of landing, but their reaction to his commitment showed just how different they are from Georgia right now.

The best part is that Florida fans didn't even realize they were embarrassing themselves. But they've lost to Georgia for so long that any chance they get to brag to their big brother they will take even if everyone else can see how humiliating it is.

Andrew Beard's commitment to Florida is a hilarious reminder about how much better Georgia has it

Beard is from the state of Georgia and someone Kirby Smart desperately wanted at one point. Usually that would be the perfect opportunity for Florida to brag after earning his commitment, but not this time.

Why? Because Georgia already has two running backs committed to their recruiting class which includes the No. 1 running back in Kemon Spell who is a top 10 player in the country.

Beard is the No. 9 running back in the country which is a big get for the Gators. That is something they should be proud of, but even if Beard said he chose Florida over Georgia they still shouldn't be bragging.

If Georgia didn't have two running backs committed would Beard still have chosen Florida? If Spell wasn't in Georgia's recruiting class would Beard have picked Florida? Probably not, but Georgia's recruiting class is full at his position so he missed his chance to come to UGA.

Florida fans however have forgotten what it feels like to beat Georgia. Ever since Smart became head coach victories have been few and far between, so any chance they get to celebrate they certainly will take.

But they should've just kept this celebration to themselves because as they're bragging to Georgia about winning this recruitment UGA fans are smiling knowing the pain Beard and all of Florida will have to deal with over the next few years when these teams play.

And Spell will be at the center of it making it all happen.
