Kirby Smart still has a lot of work to do to finish off Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class. Running back however is one position where Georgia is already set though.
That however didn’t stop Florida fans from bragging after they earned a commitment from four-star Andrew Beard on Friday.

The 5’10 195 RB from Bogart, GA chose the Gators over Clemson, Georgia, and Tennessee

Beard is from the state of Georgia who at one time Smart desperately wanted, but after having two other running backs commit he wasn’t needed in Athens anymore. But that didn't stop Florida fans from attempting to rub it in Georgia’s face when Beard committed to the Gators.
Florida fans show their lack of knowledge after Andrew Beard commits
All Florida fans had to do was use their brains for one second and they’d realize this isn’t a win they should flex over Georgia. But did they do that? Not at all.
Unfortunately for them they decided to fire off some insane posts on social media that show just how little they’re actually paying attention.
OVER GEORGIA??? 🤣

So why is this embarrassing? Beard's commitment post said he chose Florida over Georgia, so why shouldn't they be bragging?
It all has to do with the fact that Georgia already has two running backs committed to their 2027 recruiting class. No one would want to be the third back to commit to a school, so that is why Beard didn't choose Georgia.
But to take it one step further, Georgia has a commitment from the No. 1 running back in the country in Kemon Spell.
So why are Florida fans flexing the No. 9 running back? Because they have nothing else to cheer for because they haven't beaten Georgia on the field in a very long time.
So Florida can enjoy this win because Georgia still has the better player coming to Athens and will more than likely beat them on the field again this year.
