Former Georgia football quarterback Carson Beck can’t stay out of the news this year. And unfortunately for him, it’s for all the wrong reasons.
Everyone knows that Beck transferred to Miami (FL) in January, a move that was very surprising. But even if this decision was shocking, no one would classify this as being in the news for a bad reason. However, ever since Beck made it to Miami, off the field distractions continue to torment him.
It began about a month ago when Beck and his girlfriend had multiple cars stolen in Miami. That obviously isn’t Beck’s fault, but it was another thing happening off the field that is a distraction for his on field development.
Fast forward to this past week, and Beck is in the news for something off the field once again, and this time it is completely his fault.
so in short… Carson Beck left Georgia to follow his girlfriend to Miami and within 2 months of being in Miami he’s cheated on his girlfriend with a Latina? https://t.co/1FWgllCY3K

Beck and girlfriend split after cheating rumors
According to the above post and video, rumors are swirling that Beck and his girlfriend, star Miami basketball player Hanna Cavinder, have broken up. The reason for the breakup is that Beck has reportedly cheated on Cavinder.
If this rumor is true, then Beck may deserve all the bad press he will get. Public perception is everything for college football stars, especially when they're getting the kind of money Beck is making through his NIL deals.
But the irony in all of this is that Beck’s girlfriend being an athlete at Miami is one of the biggest reasons why he transferred to the Hurricanes in the first place. Sure, Miami has a lot of other things going for them, like a chance to win a National Championship and a well-funded NIL warchest, but Beck could have found that at many other places, including Georgia. So the thing that probably put Miami over the top for him (his girlfriend) may no longer even be there for him.
That is, if he even cares about that now.
Who knows how Beck’s time in Miami will finish, but so far his two months at his new school have not gone very well at all.
