Georgia's top priority in the Transfer Portal is a bit different this year. Most teams need to add talent at certain positions, and that is absolutely the case with Georgia this offseason. But that isn't the most important thing for them.
The most important thing for Georgia to do this offseason is to keep their roster in tact as much as possible. So what did Kirby Smart and his staff do? They got their top two running backs to commit to another season at Georgia when rumors of a potential disaster were swirling last weekend.
Georgia's biggest Transfer Portal came in a big way on Monday
Chauncey Bowens kicked things off for Georgia on Monday when he announced that he was running it back with UGA. There wasn't much of a concern surrounding him, but it was nice to see him commit to playing at Georgia for another season.

Nate Frazier however was a different story. He was the Bulldog that was rumored to be debating leaving the program and transfer to Ohio State, but he also announced lated on Monday that he was returning for another season.
Losing either of these players would have been disastrous. They both proved this past season how they are more than capable of being a featured back on any team in the country, so that is why transferring to a new school made some sense. But they both decided to stick with Georgia and team up again next season.
Georgia now has a chance to have the best running back duo in the country. And in all honesty it would be a little surprising if they weren't the No. 1 duo in all of college football next season.
Then when you combine them with Gunner Stockton it is clear that Georgia's offense will be special once again next season.
