According to one recruiting expert on Thursday, Georgia footballGeor once again is trending with many of the top recruits in the country. But the football team unfortunately continues to be doubted by many analysts across the country heading into the 2025 season.

But before diving into this important football news, let’s begin with Georgia baseball as they are currently on fire in the transfer portal.

Georgia baseball has No. 1 transfer portal class

Less than a week ago, Georgia baseball’s season came to a crashing end at the hands of Duke and Oklahoma State. But even though the season just ended, the Bulldogs are already gearing up for the 2026 season.

The transfer portal in college baseball is officially open, and so far Georgia has earned three commitments. These aren’t just any commitments though as all three players are ranked inside the top 250. And it just so happens these commitments are good enough to give Georgia the No. 1 transfer portal class in the country right now.

Hopefully these pickups are exactly what Georgia will need to get over the hump and make it to Omaha next season.

Paul Finebaum is confidently against Georgia

ESPN’s Paul Finebaum loves saying things that upset Georgia fans. And he once again did that this week when he named Texas as his favorite to win the National Championship.

Not only is he picking Texas to win it all, but he said he is very confident they will do so. This is obviously upsetting to Georgia fans because Finebaum isn’t even giving UGA a chance against Texas this season.

But everyone remembers how well Georgia did against Texas last year, so hopefully the same outcome comes true again.

Georgia predicted to land four elite recruits

Now that summer official visit season is in full swing, it’s time to find out where most recruits will end up committing to. Not every recruit will announce their commitment throughout the next month, but June is typically when it becomes clear which teams lead for most recruits.

Chad Simmons with On3 recently predicted four recruits that visited Georgia last weekend to commit to UGA, and those players are five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro, four-star EDGE Khamari Brooks, four-star Craig Dandridge and three-star offensive lineman Desmond Green.

Time will tell if Georgia ends up winning these recruitments or not, but this would be quite the haul for Georgia if they all did commit to UGA.
