It has become a very common theme among Georgia football's commits to help Kirby Smart and his staff in their recruiting efforts. Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis has been the most vocal about helping build UGA's 2026 class, but another Bulldog commit is beginning to help out as well.
That player is four-star safety Zech Fort, who has been committed to Georgia since the end of January.
Fort took his official visit to Georgia this past weekend, and he did so with his high school teammate Breck Kolojay. Similarly to Fort, Kolojay is a top target for Georgia as well as he is the No. 279 overall player in the country and the No. 20 offensive lineman according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Since they are high school teammates, it is not surprising to find out that Fort is helping Georgia recruit Kolojay, and that was seen on Monday with the below social media post from Fort.

Zech Fort is helping recruit 4-star high school teammate to Georgia
Georgia's recruitment of Kolojay has been challenging because of the other schools pursuing him. This includes Tennessee, Ohio State and Miami (FL) who are the main contenders in this recruitment. But it is Georgia who has surged to the top of Kolojay's recruitment because they have a crystal ball prediction in their favor from 247Sports.
No timeline is known for Kolojay when it comes to a potential commitment, so that means anything is still possible in this recruitment. That is especially the case because these programs alongside Georgia at the top of Kolojay's recruitment have been known to throw a lot of NIL money around.
Regardless, Georgia is the team to beat in this recruitment, and with Fort constantly in Kolojay's ear it could just be a matter of time until he officially commits to Georgia.
