This loss puts Georgia in the losers' bracket where they will need to win one game to get to the finals of their four-team College World Series bracket. Waiting for them in the losers' bracket is the team Georgia sent there last Saturday in the Texas Longhorns who are itching for some revenge.

What's at stake for Georgia against Texas during Game 3 at the College World Series?

After losing to Oklahoma it's do or die time for Georgia. The first round of the College World Series that Georgia is in is a double elimination bracket, so their run in Omaha isn't done yet. But their chances of winning it all just got a lot more difficult.

If Georgia loses to Texas on Tuesday their season is over. They won't get another game or another opportunity to prove themselves if they lose, so everything is on the line when they take the field against the Longhorns.

If Georgia beat Texas then they will advnace to the finals of their four-team bracket where Oklahoma will be waiting for them. In this scenario Georgia would have to beat the Sooners twice to advance to the National Championship series while Oklahoma would only need to win one game.

Georgia still has their goal of winning a National Championship in front of them, but they just need to take it one game at a time beginning with their rematch against Texas.

First pitch between Georgia and Texas is scheduled for 8:00 pm EST on Tuesday, June 16.
