Georgia is off and running at the College World Series after knocking off No. 6 Texas 7-1 in Saturday's CWS opener. The Bulldogs jumped to an early 4-0 lead after the first inning and never took their foot of the gas thanks to the dominant complete game outing from starting pitcher Joey Volchko.
Georgia doesn't have too much time to celebrate though beause waiting for them in their next game at the College World Series is Oklahoma who just had an equally impressive 9-0 victory over No. 7 Alabama on Saturday.

What does Vegas think of Georgia's matchup against Oklahoma?
Vegas hasn't listed specific odds for Georgia's matchup against Oklahoma yet, but their overall National Championship odds tell fans everything they need to know about this game.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
Georgia had +340 odds to win the National Championship before beating Texas (which only trailed North Carolina), but that win did wonders for their odds to the point where Vegas has them favored to win it all now.
What's at stake for Georgia against Oklahoma in Game 2 at the College World Series?
Georgia and Oklahoma both survived their first games at the College World Series in impressive fashion. Avoiding the loser's bracket after their first game was essential, and that once again is what's at stake when these teams play on Monday.
The winner of this matchup will advance to the final games of this four-team bracket. They will take on the team that advances out of the loser's bracket where they will get two chances to beat them one time, and if they do that they will advance to the best-of-three National Championship series.
Conversely, the loser of this game will head to the loser's bracket where they will need to win three games in a row to advance to the National Championship series. They will first have to beat the winner of Monday's game between Texas and Alabama and then have to beat the team they just lost to two times in a row if they want to play for a national title.
That is not an easy task for anyone.
Whichever teams comes out on top will have a huge advantage to make it to the National Championship series. Both teams are hot and playing some really good baseball, so just like every year at the College World Series anything is possible.
