Georgia is off and running at the College World Series after knocking off No. 6 Texas 7-1 in Saturday's CWS opener. The Bulldogs jumped to an early 4-0 lead after the first inning and never took their foot of the gas thanks to the dominant complete game outing from starting pitcher Joey Volchko.
Georgia doesn't have too much time to celebrate though beause waiting for them in their next game at the College World Series is Oklahoma who just had an equally impressive 9-0 victory over No. 7 Alabama on Saturday.

Georgia and Oklahoma will get a day off before taking the field at the College World Series again. First pitch between Georgia and Oklahoma is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST on Monday, June 15.
This game will occur after Texas and Alabama play earlier in the day at 2:00 pm EST.
