Georgia football and Kirby Smart have made one thing abundantly clear so far in the 2026 recruiting cycle. They are going to do everything in their power to earn a commitment from a five-star QB.
The Bulldogs are after many of the top quarterbacks in the 2026 class which includes the No. 1 QB who was formerly committed to Georgia as well as an elite five-star QB currently committed to Texas.
Now there is another QB who Georgia has just offered that UGA fans are going to want to keep a close eye on.
Georgia has offered elite 2026 Houston QB commit Keisean Henderson🐶

5-star QB Keisean Henderson
Keisean Henderson is a five-star QB from Spring, TX. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the No. 20 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 2 player from Texas and labeled the No. 2 ATH in the 2026 class.
It is interesting that 247Sports has Henderson labeled as an athlete because many people view him as a quarterback when he gets to the college level. But there is a chance he could play a different position as well, so that is why 247Sports has lebeled him this way.
However, it could be problematic if Georgia is recruiting Henderson at a position other than quarterback. Henderson is currently committed to Houston and all signs point towards him being recruited to play QB there. So if that is the position he prefers to play in college, then Houston will have an advantage over any other school recruiting him at a position other than QB.
It’s unclear what position Georgia is recruiting Henderson at right now, but they have officially joined the race for one of the top players in the country. So hopefully Smart and his staff can get him to flip to Georgia, because Henderson will be a special player in college no matter what position he ends up playing.
