In just a few days the No. 1 quarterback in the 2028 class will announce their commit. Jayden Wade is a five-star quarterback and the top ranked player in the country, and last week he shared that he will announce his commitment on Nov. 16.
Wade named seven schools that he will decide between when he commits, and Georgia was included in that group. But Rivals recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong left no doubt that Georgia is the team to beat as he logged an official prediction on Wednesday for UGA to win this recruitment.

Georgia predicted to land 5-star QB in the 2028 class
Michigan, Texas, Florida, Ohio State, Oregon and Washington are the six other finalists Wade named last week along with Georgia. That list however was quickly trimmed down at the end of last week by a representative in Wade's camp to just Georgia, Texas and Ohio State. But this prediction from Wiltfong shows that Georgia is without a doubt the team to beat with just a few days left until Wade's commitment.
Recruits do not get any better than Wade. He is the top ranked player in the country who is the leader of powerhouse IMG Academy in southern Florida. This fall is his first year as the starter at IMG, and he has led his team to a perfect 9-0 record. He also has thrown for nearly 1,400 yards and 20 touchdowns with only two interceptions this season. Wade is even an efficient runner as well as he has scored with his legs three times as well.
There obviously is a long time until Wade would arrive in Athens if he does commit to Georgia this weekend. His first season at Georgia would not come until 2028, so the Bulldogs would have to hold onto his commitment for a very long time. But Wade's arrival will come at the perfect time because he would be able to sit behind Jared Curtis likely for just one year before he departs to the NFL and Wade can take over the offense in Athens.
This is a special time at Georgia. If Wade commits to Georgia the Bulldogs will have two No. 1 QBs committed to their program. That fact may feel like a dream, but that dream has a chance to become reality on Sunday, Nov. 16.
