Georgia football fans seem done with Glenn Schumann and Mike Bobo

Georgia football is just a few hours removed from their come from behind victory over Georgia Tech on Friday. And while winning is the thing that matters most, there are a lot of negative things to take away from this game.

The Bulldogs' offense was nonexistant in the first half, and the defense was exposed all night long. Even special teams wasn't perfect as they missed a field goal and muffed a punt (which thankfully they recovered). Yes Georgia's players deserve a lot of blame for their struggles last night and this season in general, but Georgia's coaching staff deserves just as much if not more.

Georgia fans have been growing increasingly upset with the coaching staff this year, and they did not hold back during this game, specifically when it comes to their displeasures with offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann.

What should Kirby Smart do?

It will be interesting to see what Kirby Smart decides to do this offseason. Georgia obviously has been very successful the last few years with both coaches on the staff. Even this year Georgia has still gone 10-2 and have a chance to win the SEC Championship game and make a run in the College Football Playoff.

But Georgia's goals are much greater than that. While both of these things are great, Georgia fans expect to be one of the favorites to win a National Championship, and at this time it does not feel like that is the case.

It's too soon to speculate if Smart should fire either coach or not, because if Georgia goes on to win a National Championship then they would never be fired. But Smart's decision regarding Schumann may be made for him as he has been named one of the top candidates for the opening as North Carolina's head coach.

Regardless of how this season ends, it will be interesting to see what Smart decides to do. If it were up to the fanbase, both coaches would not be back in Athens next year, but we'll have to wait and see if anyone's opinion changes throughout the rest of the season.
