The level of panic surrounding this Georgia football team is at an all time high. The Bulldogs just lost their second game of the season to Ole Miss, and UGA fans have now become extremely worried about their team.

And those worries were confirmed Tuesday night when the College Football Playoff rankings dropped Georgia all the way to No. 12 in their updated rankings. That actually puts them one spot out of the 12-team field.

So it appears all of Georgia fan’s concerns are valid. And with all the panic and concern floating around the fanbase, UGA fans are looking for someone to blame.

Thankfully there are plenty of great candidates.

Who are Georgia fans blaming?

There are a couple prime candidates Georgia fans have targeted and started handing out blame to. The first is quarterback Carson Beck, who has not come close to the expectations everyone had for him this season. Beck’s last three games have seen him throw three interceptions twice and score just 10 points against Ole Miss. That will never be good enough and will always deserve a lot of blame.

Mike Bobo is another name receiving a lot of blame, and he might be Georgia fan’s favorite target to pick on. But it’s all for good reason. The UGA offense is struggling mightily. Sure that has a lot to do with how the players are playing, but at the same time they need to be put in a position to win. And it’s clear that Bobo has not done a great job of that recently.

Even Kirby Smart is receiving a lot of blame as well. Nobody’s gone as far as to suggest he should no longer be the head coach (and rightfully so), but Smart is responsible for everything that happens in the program. So if the team is struggling, he deserves as much blame as anyone else.

Fans are even blaming injuries as well, which has been a huge issue for Georgia all season long.

All of these are great examples of people or things that can be blamed for Georgia’s struggles this season. But one thing is very clear, there are a lot of reasons why Georgia isn’t playing well enough right now.

So instead of it being one person or one players fault, it’s more likely that it’s everyone’s collective fault and Georgia just needs to focus on getting a lot better.
