Georgia football has had a very productive March on the recruiting trail. They not only earned two commitments, but they also made a lot of progress with many of their top targets in the 2026 recruiting class as well.
But with Georgia targeting so many recruits on the trail, it can be very difficult for UGA fans to follow along. Thankfully Georgia fans have Benjamin Wolk from 247Sports who shared some of the biggest highlights from the past month on the recruiting trail for Georgia.
All eyes are on Jared Curtis
The most important recruitment for Georgia right now is five-star quarterback Jared Curtis. Curtis has narrowed his recruitment down to the Bulldogs and Oregon, but there is still vrey little known about which school he is leaning towards.
One thing that is known however is that Curtis will be announcing his commitment on May 5, so Georgia fans only have to wait one more month before finding out if he rejoins Georgia's recruiting class.
Backup options for Jared Curtis
Curtis announcing his decision on May 5 is very significant because Kirby Smart and his staff would not accept another QBs commitment until after Curtis makes his final decision. So a May 5 timeline works out well for UGA because they will have plenty of time to pivot elsewhere if Curtis chooses Oregon over the Bulldogs.
Georgia's top option after Curtis is Bowe Bentley, who is a top five QB in the class according to On3. The consensus among experts is that Georgia would become the immediate favorite for Bentley if Curtis picks Oregon, so it appears Georgia will be adding an elite quarterback to their recruiting class this year.
Georgia earns two key commitments
Not only has Georgia put themselves in a good position with a lot of top recruits, but the Bulldogs also earned two commitments as well.
The first came from wide receiver Brady Marchese, who marks the sixth addition to the Bulldogs' 2026 recruiting class. Marchese was the only recruit in the 2026 class to commit to Georgia in the past month, but the Bulldogs also added a player in the 2025 class. That recruit is legacy defensive lineman London Seymour, who ditched Boston College to commit to Georgia just last week.
