Georgia football has only played Western Kentucky one time in their program's history. No one will be surprised to find out that Georgia won that game with ease and the goal this year will be to find the same success again.
Georgia just dominated Tennessee State last week 63-3 and they are hoping to build off of that and do something similar against another team in Western Kentucky who is much worse than them on paper.
Georgia's first meeting against Western Kentucky was utter dominance
The one and only meeting between Georgia and Western Kentucky occurred on Sept. 2, 2006 which was the Bulldogs' season opener. Georgia convincingly won this game 48-12 with their first score of the game, and season, being a punt return for a touchdown.
Georgia was led by starting quarterback Joe Tereshinski who threw one touchdown, but he got hurt during the game which paved the way for true freshman Matthew Stafford to make is first appearance in a Georgia uniform.
Three different running backs scored a touchdown as Georgia burst out to a 31-0 lead. They took a 31-7 lead into halftime and never looked back as they cruised to their 36 point victory.
Georgia did give up a safety late in this game. That isn't noteworthy when it comes to the final score, but it isn't too often that a special teams touchdown and safety occur in the same game.

Georgia vs Western Kentucky final odds predict another blowout victory
ESPN's matchup predictor believes this will be an easy game for Georgia to win. They are giving Georgia a 99 percent chance to win this game which is essentially a guaranteed victory.
FanDuel Sportsbook also believes Georgia will win this game with ease as well and in dominant fashion. They favor Georgia by 40.5 points while having the over-under set at 55.5 points. This means Vegas believes the final score will be around 48-8 in Georgia's favor.
Georgia's most important key against Western Kentucky
Fans may care about covering the spread against Western Kentucky, but Georgia likely won't care at all. In fact, the Bulldogs' most important key for this game might actively hurt their chances of covering the spread.
Last week Georgia pulled their starters once they got up by a wide margin, and there's no reason why they won't do it again this week. Georgia begins SEC play next week where they will play nine conference opponents in a row with their annual matchup against Georgia Tech at the end. They need to be as healthy as possible when this stretch begins, so the more they can rest their starters the better.
In order for that to happen Georgia has to get out to a big lead early in the game. If they can do that and rest their starters for a good chunk of the game then that likely will be a win in Kirby Smart's book whether they cover the spread or not.
