Georgia is approaching the halfway point of their season, so what better time then to hit the road to play their first rivalry matchup of the season? Wether they are ready or not, that is what is on the horizon for Georgia this week as they travel to Auburn to take on the Tigers in primetime.

Vegas weighed in on how they see this game playing out this past weekend, and FanDuel Sportsbook listed Georgia as a 4.5 point favorite. But that has since changed, and the line has moved in favor of Auburn.

Georgia vs Auburn spread is moving in the Tigers favor fast

After just one day of this spread being live, the line has already shrunk by one point. So as it stands right now, Georgia is favored by just 3.5 points against Auburn.

This has become a common theme for many of Georgia's games this season. In fact, this has occurred in all three of their SEC games so far. Vegas was correct to shrink the spread in Georgia's games against Tennessee and Alabama because they both covered the final spread. But Vegas got it wrong this past weekend against Kentucky as Georgia still covered the original spread that was first listed.

So what gives? Why is everyone so high on Auburn? The Tigers do have a few advantages heading into this game, but the Bulldogs are the far better team on paper. Auburn has also lost their previous two games while Georgia got back in the winner's circle this weekend.

This Auburn team however is more than capable of not just covering this spread but winning this game outright. But still, the Bulldogs deserve to be the favorite and it probably should be by more than 3.5 points.
