Georgia vs. Florida Prediction
The line movement in this game has already been very interesting as it opened on Thursday night with Georgia as a 20.5 favorite. So in a few short hours the public has already bet on Florida enough to cover the spread to move the line a whole two points in their favor.
But still, Georgia is the No. 2 team in the country and riding high after their win over Texas, so surely this should be a game they win by a comfortable margin. However, siding with the public on this one seems like the right choice to make.
Georgia will still win this game, but Florida has been a hot team recently, even after losing starting QB Graham Mertz to injury for the season. Florida's last two games saw them lose to Tennessee in overtime then destroy Kentucky 48-20. The Gators are also coming off a bye as well so that isn't an advantage for Georiga as they come of their bye.
18.5 points is still a big spread to cover. Georgia will still win comfortably, but Florida will be able to score some points to keep up with Georgia early which will give the over a good chance to hit as well.
Prediction: Georgia wins 31-20
