Georgia football vs. No. 6 Tennessee early odds and a prediction
Georgia football has hit the low point in their season after losing to Ole Miss 28-10. The Bulldogs have fallen all the way to No. 11 in the updated AP Poll rankings, and the hope for a season filled with championships is all but gone.
But Kirby Smart and Georgia still have a chance to make some noise this season. Even if it doesn't feel like it, all of Georgia's goals are still in front of them. But in order to achieve them, they must beat Tennessee at home on Saturday night.
Anything is possible in this game, so let's take a look at the current odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Current Georgia vs. Tennessee Odds
As of Sunday, Nov. 10 at 6:00 pm EST, Gerogia is a 9.5 point favorite over Tennessee according to FanDuel. The over-under for this game is also set at 49.5 points. ESPN's Football Power Index currently gives Georgia a 61.8 percent chance to win this game as well.
Georgia vs Tennessee Prediction
It is no secret how badly Georgia needs to win this game. A loss and their already slim chances of making the SEC championship game are gone. Losing this game would also make it nearly impossible to make it into the College Football Playoffs as well.
However, Georgia knows how to respond after they lose a game. After losing to Alabama earlier this season, the Bulldogs rattled off four straight wins which included a win over No. 1 Texas on the road. So this team is clearly capable of more than showed against Ole Miss, it's just a matter of if they will play to their potential or not.
But with the Sanford Stadium crowd fully behind the Bulldogs, it feels unlikey this Georgia team will lose a second game in a row.
Prediction: Georgia wins 24-13
