Week four is a week of no escape for any SEC team. Every team in the conference other than Kentucky and Arkansas are playing conference games. Notably, the Georgia Bulldogs are playing at home against the Oklahoma Sooners.
While this will be undoubtedly Georgia's biggest test so far this season there are four other games going on around the conference that could potentially have a great impact on how Georgia's season shapes out in 2026.
1. Ole Miss vs Florida
Ole Miss soared up the AP Poll to No. 4 after their electric win at home against LSU last week. The Rebels however will have to travel to Gainesville next and play a Florida Gators team who has exceeded expectations to start the year.
Coming into week four ranked No. 21, Aaron Murray has gone on the record to say that the Gators "could be one of the best offenses in the SEC." So far, Florida has done nothing to dispel that rumor as they've scored an average of 54 points over three games which includes a narrow win at Auburn last week.
DraftKings Sportsbook actually has the Gators as a three-point favorite at home against Ole Miss, so this game deserves a ton of respect and demands attention from Georgia fans.
2. Vanderbilt vs Auburn
Vanderbilt vs Auburn will greatly define how both teams will be viewed throughout the rest of the season. Both of these teams have records that were a couple of plays away from being much different. Auburn, like most seasons it seems like, could just as easily be 1-2 or 3-0. Vanderbilt was one miraculous play away from being 2-1 last week but instead they are 3-0 to start their season.
Despite what has happened the past few weeks, this game should determine which of these two teams can be considered a serious threat in the SEC. For Georgia they should keep a close eye on Vanderbilt, especially starting quarterback Jared Curtis, as they are up next for UGA in week five.
3. South Carolina vs Alabama
Both South Carolina and Alabama had weird week three games. Alabama first of all was saved against Florida State by an electric offense and a weather delay that could not have come at a better time. At one point, the Crimson Tide trailed Florida State at home 21-6 before going on a 44-15 run.
South Carolina on the other hand was up 16 points early against Mississippi State before eventually falling to the Bulldogs by a score of 41-34. Both of these teams feature excellent offenses and struggling defenses. South Carolina has given Alabama some scares in the past few seasons, so this game could easily go either way in Tuscaloosa.
4. Missouri vs Mississippi State
Nobody really has a good tell on the Missouri Tigers yet this season. They have one of the best running backs in the country and a solid quarterback in Austin Simmons, but their margin of victory in their opening three games have not been what many anticipated. Sure they are undefeated, but they only beat Troy last week by 10 points.
Going on the road at night to Mississippi State should tell Georgia fans a lot about what kind of game to expect when they play the Tigers in Athens on Nov. 14.
