Georgia kept their season alive on Tuesday by beating Texas for the second time at the College World Series 2-0. This victory clinched their spot in the finals of their bracket where Oklahoma, the team Georgia already lost to, is waiting.

Georgia has a lot of work to do if they are going to get past Oklahoma and advance to the National Championship series. While they will have lingering thoughts about their loss to the Sooners on Monday, they should have a lot of confidence still because they nearly won that game and just beat a really good Texas for the second time in a row.

What time do Georgia and Oklahoma play at the CWS?

If Georgia is going to advance to the National Championship series they need to beat Oklahoma two times in a row. Their first matchup will occur on Wednesday, June 17 with first pitch scheduled for 7:00 pm EST.

What's on the line in Georgia's CWS rematch against Oklahoma?

Georgia once again faces elimination at the College World Series against Oklahoma. They had to win to keep their season alive against Texas on Tuesday, and now they have to beat the Sooners two times in a row to keep their hopes of winning a National Championship in tact.

Oklahoma has the big advantage that comes with starting 2-0 at the College World Series. They only need to beat Georgia one time to advance to the National Championship series, so if Georgia wins on Wednesday the Sooners will have a chance at redemption on Thursday in what would be an elimination game for both teams.
