In case any Georgia football fan somehow missed the news late Sunday night, the Bulldogs earned their first commitment out of the transfer portal since it opened this spring. However, not only did they earn one commitment, they actually earned commitments from three different transfers at the same time.

Illinois running back Josh McCray, Army EDGE Elo Modozie and Miami (FL) defensive lineman Joshua Horton were the three transfers who announced that Georgia is their new home Sunday night.

Georgia fans by no means were concerned from the lack of commitments before Sunday's fireworks, but it is nice to finally see Kirby Smart bring in some talent to the program, especially at positions of need. However, recruiting is something that never stops, so the next question every Georgia fan has is who the next commit will be.

While the answer to that question is unknown, Rivals insider Trent Smallwood hinted that Georgia's next commitment might happen very soon.

Who could be Georgia's next commitment?

Georgia's next commitment could come from the transfer portal or from a high school recruit, but the above post unfortunately does not specifically state where the next commit could be coming from. But this message being posted in a matter of minutes after the three transfer commitments could be a sign that it's another portal commitment.

Who that player could be however is unknown, but there are a few candidates who seem more likely than others.

North Carolina EDGE Beau Atkinson is a prime candidate who has announced visits to both Georgia and Ohio State. Alabama A&M defensive lineman Sedrick Smith is also another great candidate as well. Smith has been officially predicted to commit to Georgia, but he does have plans to take a visit to Georgia Tech as well before he announces his final decision.

While it is unclear who the next commit could be, these are definitely two names to pay close attention to as Georgia now has the most momentum in the country in the transfer portal.
