Georgia or Clemson, that is who four-star Seth Williams will be deciding between when he commits on July 31. These two have been at the top of Williams' recruitment all summer, and that remains the case as they are the only hats that will be on the table when he announces his commitment.
Recruiting is impossible to predict even if experts log official predictions, but current Georgia QB commit Colton Nussmeier is confident that Williams will be come a Bulldog. In fact, he sent him a message on social media urging him to "come home" and commit to Georgia.

One month ago this recruitment was all Clemson. The Tigers had every prediction in their favor and with a commitment date of July 3 quickly approaching it looked like Georgia was out of time. But then they weren't out of time because Williams canceled his commitment date.
Fast forward to today and Nussmeier is pushing for Williams to commit to Georgia. This is extremely significant because a quarterback committed to any recruiting class has a lot of sway in other recruitments. Nussmeier also is one of the top quarterbacks in the country, so if Williams sees that he wants him to come to Georgia then that may help him actually decide to commit to UGA.
There's an even greater sign that Williams is going to commit to Georgia because expert predictions were placed in Georgia's favor on Wednesday.

After Williams canceled his original commitment date he sat for a few weeks and didn't share any information about his recruitment. He likely spent that time thinking to himself about what he wanted to do, and he finally came to a decision.
At that point he shared that his new commitment date is July 31, and soon after that announcement one final twist came in the form of Georgia getting a prediction placed in their favor.
This doesn't guarantee that Georgia will win this recruitment, but it is as good of a sign as they will ever get. And with his commitment just two days away predictions like this almost always come true.
Only time will tell if Georgia brings this recruitment home or not, but all signs are pointing to them coming out on top. This will give Georgia their second defensive back commit in their 2027 recruiting class as well as a comeback win over a secondary rival in Clemson.
And with Nussmeier in his ear ready to celebrate another commitment, it's hard to imagine him saying no to Georgia on Friday.
