Georgia RB commit proves he isn't scared of a little competition

One of Georgia's running back commits just proved why he is a great addition to the program.

Georgia already has two running backs committed to their 2027 recruiting class. One of those players is Noah Parker who is a three-star recruit from the state of Georgia.

Parker isn't ranked very high, in fact he likely will end up being one of the lowest ranked commits in Georgia's class. On top of that, Kirby Smart has already shown that he wants to recruit multiple other running backs who are ranked much higher than him.

But that doesn't matter to Parker as he officially shut down his recruitment earlier this week.

There was a real chance that Georgia could've lost Parker's commitment. As mentioned, Georgia already has another running back committed to their recruiting class, but that player isn't just anyone. The other running back committed to Georgia already is Kemon Spell who is the No. 1 running back in the country.

On top of that, Smart has made it clear that he wants to add a third running back to his recruiting class as well. Andrew Beard is the latest running back Georgia has set their eyes on, and he is an elite four-star recruit.

Parker however doesn't seem to care about any of this. He loves Georgia and knows that this is where he wants to be, so no matter who else comes to Georgia he will be ready to compete against them for some playing time.

It will be interesting to see how soon Parker will be able to earn some playing time. Based on his ranking alone though it looks like it will be difficult for him to ever see the field, but it's clear that he has the mindset that Smart is looking for in his players. So don't be surprised if he outplays his ranking and become a player Georgia fans really love by the end of his career.
