Georgia football has had a rough few days on the recruiting trail. The Bulldogs haven’t been able to muster much tangible momentum on the trail recently, but the bad news hit an all time high this past weekend when one of their top commits flipped their commitment from Georgia to Miami (FL).

News like that will cause any fanbase to panic, but Georgia fans still trust that Kirby Smart and his staff will figure it out just like they do every year. And the latest recruiting update shows that this is still 100 percent the case.

Georgia predicted to land top IOL

PJ Dean has been in the news a lot recently as there have been a lot of updates to his recruitment. Earlier this week, Dean named his top three schools which consisted of Georgia, Ohio State and South Carolina. On top of that, On3 named Georgia as the slight favorite to land Dean as well.

This news is obviously a huge deal, especially when you consider that Dean is the No. 22 player in the country and the top ranked interior offensive lineman, according to On3. But the news for Georgia got even better as On3’s Steve Wiltfong just officially predicted Dean to commit to Georgia.

There is no public timeline for an official commitment from Dean yet, so this recruitment is still far from over. But Georgia is in as good of a position as they can possibly be in at this point in this recruitment.

But to put the final stamp on how confident Georgia should be in winning this recruitment, On3 now gives Georgia a 94 percent chance to win this battle. So again, it is not 100 percent official yet, but it is looking like Georgia will eventually be receiving some great news from Dean.
