Georgia’s recruiting has been fairly quiet so far this year when it comes to the quarterback position. Usually by now it is a well known fact who Georgia is targeting at that position, but that hasn’t been the case this year.

That however has all changed as Dawg Nation shared the three players Georgia is pursuing in the 2027 class along with a five-star twist that is in play.

3 QBs Georgia is pursuing in the 2027 recruiting class

The first quarterback Georgia is pursuing is four-star Davin Davidson. He is a top 200 player that Georgia has begun showing a lot more interest in over the last few weeks. And why is that? Because he has had the best two months of any quarterback prospect in the country, according to Dawg Nation.

Up next is four-star Peter Bourque who just decommitted from Michigan not long ago. It's unclear if Georgia is his new No. 1 school since then, but he does have a visit to Georgia coming up in March. He is also a top 100 player in the country, so he may be Georgia's No. 1 choice right now.

Last but not least is four-star Jamison Roberts. He is the newest quarterback Georgia has decided to target as he was just offered a scholarship last week, but he has already shared that an official visit to Athens is on the table.

There is a big five-star twist that Georgia fans will need to monitor as well. Jayden Wade is a five-star QB in the 2028 class who has already committed to Georgia, but there is a chance he could reclassify to the 2027 class. The most likely outcome is that he will stay in the 2028 class, but there is a chance he could make the move and join this year's recruiting class instead.

Georgia's quarterback in their 2027 class will more than likely come from this group of recruits. If Wade reclassifies then he will be Georgia's QB in this class, but if he stays in the 2028 class then it could be any one of these three players who ends up choosing UGA.
