Five-star quarterback Jayden Wade has a big decision to make. The No. 1 quarterback is already committed to Georgia, but he is only a member of the 2028 recruiting class. This means that the Bulldogs have to hold onto his commitment for over a year and a half, and that is no easy task.
But there’s another big decision Wade has to make, and that is if he will remain in the 2028 class or reclassify to the 2027 class.
Georgia's 2027 QB board is moving fast. @LightsOutWade7 reclassification? Still cloudy.

Jayden Wade has a big decision to make
The above post from Dawg Nation indicates that Wade is still unsure if he is going to reclassify to the 2027 recruiting class or not. Up to this point Wade has always said he is going to stay in the 2028 class, but this is the first report in the last few months that says there is a chance he could move to the 2027 class.
Wade reclassifying to the 2027 class would change everything for Georgia. The Bulldogs have been a little slow finding a quarterback to pursue in the 2027 class, so Wade reclassifying would solve their quarterback problem in that class. On top of that, Wade would arrive one year earlier which would impact Georgia on the field next season.
This fall will be Gunner Stockton's last season as Georgia's starting quarterback. So heading into the 2027 season there will be an open competition in the offseason to determine who their next starting quarterback will be. If Wade reclassifies he very well could win that starting job and start at Georgia as a true freshman.
Regardless of what he does though, Georgia still needs to hold onto his commitment. Recent reports have shared that LSU and Tennessee are aggressively pursuing him, but Wade has said that he is still sticking with Georgia. He is even helping Georgia recruit more players to Athens as well.
But assuming he does stick with Georgia, he still has a big decision to make about what recruiting class he wants to be a part of.
