Georgia already has a commitment from the No. 1 quarterback in the 2028 recruiting class in Jayden Wade, but that doesn't mean they can relax in the other recruiting classes. If Georgia is going to continue being one of the best programs in the country they have to recruit the quarterback position at a high level in every recruiting class.

The good news for Georgia is that they have a little luck on their side when it comes to the 2029 recruiting class.

Georgia might have an edge with elite quarterback CJ Cypher

Rankings have not been released for the 2029 recruiting cycle yet, but there are already players who are standing out. One of those players that has caught the attention of a lot of scouts is CJ Cypher.

There aren't many recruits in the 2029 class who have made names for themselves yet, but that isn't the case with Cypher. In fact, some even believe he will eventually be the No. 1 quarterback in his recruiting class.

That would be very fortunate for Georgia because Cypher is from the state of Georgia.

Georgia has a lot of work to do in the 2027 and 2028 class first. Those classes are far more important than the 2029 class right now, but the good news is that things are beginning to take shape with their 2027 targets. However, the most important thing right now is keeping Wade in their 2028 class with rumors now circulating of other schools targeting him.

But Georgia should still put some focus on the 2029 class, especially with Cypher. There is a chance that Georgia is his dream school, so the more work they can do now the better.

And who knows, maybe he will be named the No. 1 quarterback in his class and end up committing to Georgia just like Wade.
