Georgia held their first scrimmage of the spring last weekend. This gave each player a chance to show Kirby Smart and his staff how much they have improved since last year and why they deserve to shoot up the depth chart.

The wide receivers and defensive backs all shined during this scrimmage, but unfortunately the same can't be said about the Bulldogs' quarterbacks who gave Smart a new reason to panic.

“The results were mixed,” Connor Riley said via dawgnation.com. “Stockton, Puglisi and Montgomery all threw interceptions, with freshman Tyriq Green returning one errant pass for a touchdown.”

Georgia's quarterbacks give Kirby Smart a new reason to be concerned

No fans were able to watch thi scrimmage, but Georgia insiders were able to gather some information that they have now shared with the public. While there were a lot of good things that unfolded during the scrimmage, there were also some troubling things as well. And nothing was more troubling than Georgia's top three quarterbacks all throwing interceptions.

It's hard to blame Gunner Stockton for his interception since he is coming off a minor knee injury. But if he is healthy enough to play then there isn't any excuses that can erase this errant throw he made during the scrimmage.

Beyond Stockton though it is a bit scary finding out that Ryan Puglisi and Ryan Montgomery both threw interceptions as well. Not only are these the two quarterbacks most likely to take over for Stockton when his career is done, but they could step in this season as well if he were to get injured during the year.

Georgia will have a couple more scrimmages before the end of spring, so the hope is that the quarterbacks will shine much more than they did last week. But for now the Bulldogs' quarterback room is a minor concern, but it is nothing to freak out about quite yet.
