Georgia is still a week away from playing Florida, but with UGA on their bye week this weekend it's already time to start looking ahead to their date with the Gators. This year Georgia and Florida are playing in Atlanta on Halloween, and it's shaping up to be another iconic matchup.

As of now this is a top 20 matchup, but Georgia is the favorite according to the FanDuel Sportsbook as they are favored by 9.5 points. That is a good amount to be favored by, especially in a top 20 matchup, but it doesn't really increase the confidence in Georgia going into this game.

Florida may be the most unpredictable teams in the SEC

At times this season Florida has looked like one of the best teams in the country, but at other times they have looked below average. This means that the amount Georgia is favored by doesn't matter all that much because Florida could either be one of the best teams UGA faces this season when they play or they could be an easy win, it's impossible to predict.

For Georgia though it doesn't really matter how good or bad Florida can be when it comes to their preparations. They need to prepare for this game like Florida is the best team in the country that way they are ready for anything they might throw their way.

For fans though who love to look at the spread heading into games it might be tough to get a read on what Vegas is saying. A 9.5 point spread implies that this will be a close game that Georgia should win, but based on how the Gators have played this season anything is possible from a blowout win to a loss.

Georgia showed flaws vs Auburn for the first time this season

Another reason why Georgia should be nervous heading into this game is because they showed a lot of flaws in their last outing against Auburn. Before losing to Auburn the Bulldogs hadn't shown too many weaknesses this season, but that changed last week.

Gunner Stockton showed that he isn't perfect as he turned the ball over three times. Georgia's run game also wasn't as dominant in the second half as they are used to and there were too many mental mistakes that eventually caught up to them.

Georgia's defense also showed how to find success against them as well because they struggled to defend a mobile quarterback. Auburn's quarterback carried the ball on designed runs more than Georgia is used to, and heading into the Florida game Gators quarterback Aaron Philo could take advantage of this as well.

Georgia has to find a way to beat Florida. If they lose then there's a real possibility they fail to make the SEC Championship game and the College Football Playoff, and at a program like Georgia that would be unacceptable. Vegas thinks Georgia will win, but anyone who has watched Florida this season knows they are capable of pulling off the upset.
